Robert Adamson correspondence 1910

Robert Adamson served as the Secretary to the Mayor of New York City, William Jay Gaynor. The folder mostly contains correspondence from 1910 addressed to Mr. Adamson. Many of the letters commend him for his bravery during the shooting of Mayor Gaynor in August, 1910. Other correspondence is from John L. Heaton and Job E. Hedges. There is one letter signed by Mr. Adamson regarding the transfer of donations to the Red Cross for the victims of the sinking of the Titanic.
